From beginning to end, Gemma and her team were absolutely amazing. I loved my dress but they made me love it even more!! Gemma made sure I was 10000% comfortable in my dress each appointment and made sure every single bit of my dress was perfectly fitted. I lasted in my dress the whole of the day (even in 30 degree heat!). The tips and tricks Gemma shared also were fab. Would highly recommend and will be recommending to any other future brides I come across! Thank you so much!! Xxx

Gemma and the team at Stitched Up did a wonderful job altering my wedding dress, including making a custom bow for the back (which completed the dress for me and was exactly what I wanted!), sewing a teeny blue ribbon in for my “something blue” - which was a genius idea as blue didn’t really fit our colour scheme! - and making sure it fit like a glove! Gemma also taught my mum how to do the dress up professionally, so it was absolutely perfect on the day. Honestly couldn’t recommend them more!

Where's the button for 10 stars? 5 Isn't enough! Gemma and her team are absoloutely INCREDIBLE! What a lovely little place to show up with your dress, get fitted and feel like a million dollars! Any concerns I had for my dress went out the window as soon as I met Gemma, omg she made me feel amazing, she was professional, polite and funny! She went above and beyond for me (and she will know what I mean!!!) seeing Gemma was like a break from the stresses of wedding planning, you are spending so much money on your big day and you really do have to enjoy it all, including the run up, all the appointments and the amazing people you meet! My dress fit like an absolute glove, it was so perfect, my husband basically fell to the ground when he saw me haha! Thank you so much ladies, I would do it all over again just so I can come and have another chinwag!!! And to note, when I came to trying to find a business who I could trust to alter my £6000 dress, you can't just trust anyone - to be honest I was searching and searching locally and couldn't find anyone that I would feel comfortable doing my alterations, but as soon as I found Stitched Up I knew I was in safe hands, and it was also well worth the travelling for, my dress has been looked after SO well, and it's currently in for dry cleaning with them! Gemma and Stitched Up are incredible! I got married in March and could not have got through the whole process without the kindness and support from the team. Gemma completely understood how to translate some of my anxieties into a dress so I felt confident. She and the excellent team modified my sleeves and appliquéd on extra detail for consistency across my bodice and sleeve. If I could marry Gemma, I would. I also got my dress professionally cleaned and repaired after, tucked into a box for safe keeping. Amazing - thank you so much!

Stitched Up Bridal... Where to even begin?!

Gemma, Becca, Tabby and the whole team are amazing, other-worldly alteration angels who did a fantastic job looking after my wedding dress fittings. Being quite petite I was a bit apprehensive about having my dress altered, but from the very first time I walked into the Stitched Up sanctuary I was immediately put at ease. The Sanctuary does exactly what it says on the tin; it is a beautifully designed, calm space and Gemma and her team do a fantastic job at creating a chilled environment where you feel really relaxed and comfortable, even when they are busy working away in The Studio next door. No question is too silly, no request too extreme, and each of the girls demonstrate an unrivalled focus and attention to detail whilst having a laugh with each of the brides they work with. The enthusiasm, passion and commitment to what they do is infectious, and they were super patient with my mum and I during our collection fit while we were checking everything over and learning how to 'do up' the dress. I'm so glad I trusted Stitched Up with my dress alterations, it fitted like a glove and that is testament to the amazing skill of the SU team. Thank you so so much Gemma, I can't wait to see you and the girls again when I come to get my dress cleaned and re-worked with you later in the year!

Gemma is quite possibly the most wonderful and talented person I’ve ever met! She’s just a genuinely nice person and she made me feel incredible. The alterations process was so easy - I was informed every step of the way what she was going to do, what would look good and what to expect. My dress fits like a glove (even with my linebacker shoulders!) and I feel like a goddess in it - it was the first time I actually felt pretty in years! If I could give 10 stars I would! I had an amazing experience from booking my first appointment, to final fitting and collecting my wedding dress. Gemma made me feel so comfortable throughout my fittings and she is truly incredible at what she does. My dress fit perfectly and looked like it had been made just for me.

I had my dress altered for my wedding last year, Gemma was amazing and paid so much attention throughout appointments. The attention to detail with my dress was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for better quality. I cannot recommend the Stitched Up team enough. They are quite possibly the nicest group of girls you'll ever come across and are the absolute best at what they do. They turned a dress that I wasn't crazy about into one that I now absolutely love - nothing was impossible! The girls also worked on my reception dress which Becca spent who knows how many hours on because of the many rows of beads it has! If that weren't enough, they came to my rescue when I bought a last minute party dress a week before the wedding that didn't quite fit. It needed some alterations that I wasn't sure would be possible but Gemma got back to me straight away, told me to come in the next day and fixed it for me in under 10 minutes. No one will ever convince me otherwise - Gemma is a wizard. Their attention to detail is second to none and their commitment and care for their customers really sets them apart. I want to thank you for all of the hours and love that you put into all 3 of my dresses (plus the scrunchie & bouquet bow!) and for genuinely being my favourite part of the planning process. Run, don't walk people!

I could not recommend Stitched Up more if I tried! Gemma and her team are so welcoming, talented, accommodating and friendly. They made me feel instantly comfortable and relaxed (even with a screaming baby in tow!). The studio is beautiful and the team worked wonders on my dress. The Stitched Up team did such an amazing job of altering my fully sequinned Made With Love dress for my wedding last November, even making final alterations up to a few weeks before the day as I had lost a bit of weight.
