When Should I Book My Alterations?

The moment your dress is purchased, your alteration dates should be too. Appointments can be secured up to a year in advance — because the most effortless brides plan early.

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

You can request your bridal alteration appointments via our online booking form. We recommend booking early, particularly for peak wedding months.

DO YOU CHARGE AN APPOINTMENT FEE?

A £25 appointment fee is required to reserve your fitting dates. Once your appointments are provisionally held, a secure payment link will be sent to the phone number provided on your booking form.

Please note that appointments are only confirmed once payment has been received. If the fee is not settled within 48 hours of request, the dates will be released to another bride.

This fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation, non-attendance, or if you decide not to proceed with your alterations.

HOW MANY FITTINGS WILL I NEED?

Most brides require three fittings, depending on the complexity of the gown and the alterations needed. More intricate dresses or couture-level work may require additional appointments to ensure a precise finish.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY FITTING?

Please bring your wedding dress, your wedding shoes, and any undergarments or shapewear you plan to wear on the day. If you have accessories such as a veil or overskirt, these can also be helpful.

DO YOU WORK WITH DESIGNER AND COUTURE DRESSES?

Yes. We specialise in designer and couture wedding dresses, including gowns with intricate lace, beading, and delicate fabrics. Each dress is handled with care and respect for its original construction.

CAN YOU ALTER HEAVILY BEADED OR LACE GOWNS?

Absolutely. We regularly work with gowns that require hand-sewn lace and beadwork reconstruction. This type of work is time-intensive and is priced accordingly.

Every gown is individual, just like the bride wearing it — which is why pricing can only be confirmed once we see you in your dress. We don’t offer fixed quotes; instead, we price with intention, charging only for the precise work required to achieve an impeccable fit. When you leave us, your dress will feel considered, effortless, and perfectly yours.

DO YOU OFFER RUSH ALTERATIONS?

Where availability allows, we may be able to offer rush or express services. These are subject to a surcharge and cannot always be guaranteed, particularly during peak wedding season.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WEIGHT CHANGES?

Minor fluctuations can usually be accommodated at later fittings. If significant changes occur, additional alterations may be required. We always advise maintaining a stable fit in the final weeks before your wedding where possible.

CAN YOU CHANGE THE DESIGN OF MY DRESS?

We offer considered design refinements, such as neckline adjustments, sleeve additions, or structural changes. Larger redesigns are discussed carefully to ensure they remain true to the gown’s original aesthetic. You can schedule your consultation here.

DO YOU CLEAN WEDDING DRESSES?

Our post-wedding cleaning service is designed to preserve your dress with thoughtful, expert care. Your gown is professionally cleaned and delicately steamed, then wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and beautifully boxed to protect it for years to come.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

Our studio is based in Warwickshire, and we welcome brides from across the UK. All fittings are by appointment only to ensure privacy and dedicated time.

GUEST POLICY

To ensure a calm, focused experience and allow us the space required to work comfortably, we can accommodate one guest per bridal appointment.

Additional guests will not be permitted, and guests may not rotate in and out during the appointment.

While we adore little ones, our studio environment requires full attention and care. For this reason, children under 16 are not permitted in the studio.
