Head to The Studio, you’ll be greeted by The Team and they’ll let your seamstress in The Sanctuary know you’ve arrived.

Your stylist will ask you to try on your dress with the shoes + underwear you plan to wear on the day. We’ll chat about any concerns you may have + pin the alterations required.

Once all has been confirmed we will give you an accurate quote. We require a 50% non refundable deposit at this fitting with the balance split between your second fit + collection fit.

You need to bring your shoes to each and every fitting, this is integral for us to achieve the perfect fit. Without your shoes we cannot carry out your fitting, an extra fitting for forgotten shoes will incur a £25 fee.

Think of your second fitting as the ultimate checklist. We go over the work discussed at your first fit and confirm you’re happy with the work that’s been carried out so far. If your dress is detailed this will have been unpicked to allow us to make the alterations with all details ready to be restitched for your collection fit. We’ll have pressed and pinned your hem so you can see, feel and agree to the length before we cut away. You may find seams have been left open for this fitting, this is normal for a second fit and nothing to worry about. Once you’re in your dress, your seamstress will chat you through what has happened and where we’re heading.

Something not feeling right? Talk to us. Everything on the outside may look beautiful but if theres something niggling on the inside - even if you’re not sure what - tell us how you’re feeling. We know if you’d like a little more support at your bust then a nip in at the waist will do this. Feeling a little exposed? We can manipulate the fabric, add a little embellishment, work out the best way to make you feel confident whilst complimenting your dress. It’s tricky if you go home and then contact us because we need to see you in the dress to show you your options - if it all get’s a bit much (and sometimes it can!) we can discuss all of the options, then book you in for another fitting once you’ve had time to think about it.

There is never any pressure, we want you to look at feel your best on your wedding day. We work with you to achieve the perfect fit.

Once everything has been confirmed we can go ahead and get your dress ready for collection.

You’re officially on wedding countdown!

All work has been completed as agreed at your last fitting. You try your dress on during this appointment so your seamstress can check over the work that has been carried out. If any minor alterations are required - for example stitching your bust cups in - this will be done for you during this appointment. If for any reason additional tweaks are needed, we will book another date in for you to collect your dress.

During this appointment we will advise the best way to get into your dress + give you any hints or tips that will help on the day. We can show your guest how to get you into your dress, let them have a practice run and video the do-up if it’s a tricky one.

Remember - this is only your take-away day if you’re completely happy with the fit. There is absolutely no pressure - we are here to help - talk to us if you have any worries or concerns.
