YOUR FIRST FITTING

Arrive at The Studio and be warmly welcomed by The Team, who will let your seamstress in The Sanctuary know you’ve arrived.

Your stylist will guide you through your first fitting, asking you to wear the shoes and underwear planned for your wedding day. Together, we’ll address any concerns and pin the alterations needed, ensuring a flawless, considered fit.

Once everything is confirmed, we’ll provide a precise quote. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at this appointment, with the balance split between your second fitting and your collection fitting.

Shoes are essential at every appointment to achieve the perfect silhouette. Without them, we cannot proceed, and an additional fitting will incur a £25 fee.

THE SECOND FITTING

The wedding’s approaching, everyone’s asking for final details, and you’re one “quick question” away from losing it. Breathe — we’ve got you.

Your second fitting is the ultimate checklist. We’ll review the work from your first fitting, confirm you’re happy with the alterations so far, and check every detail. Hemlines are pinned, seams may be left open — all perfectly normal at this stage — so you can see, feel, and approve before we finish.

If something doesn’t feel quite right, speak up. Even the smallest niggle matters. Whether it’s a touch more support, a subtle adjustment, or extra confidence in certain areas, we’ll work with the fabric and details to ensure you feel radiant, comfortable, and secure.

No pressure, ever. Our aim is for you to look and feel your absolute best on your wedding day. Once everything is confirmed, we’ll prepare your dress for collection.

THE COLLECTION FITTING

You’re officially on the wedding countdown!

At this appointment, all work from your previous fittings will have been completed. You’ll try on your dress so your seamstress can carefully review every detail. Any minor adjustments — such as stitching your bust cups — will be taken care of on the spot. If additional tweaks are needed, we’ll schedule another appointment before you collect your dress.

We’ll also guide you on the best way to get into your dress and share tips for the big day. If you like, we can show your guests how to help you into your gown, let them practice, and even video any tricky fastenings — ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day.

This is your takeaway day only when you’re completely happy with the fit. There is never any pressure — we are here to support you, so speak up if anything feels off or you have concerns.
